Mr. Woody was so much more than a resident—he was family to our Meridian Park community. His kindness, humor, and incredible stories brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether you stopped to chat for a few minutes or spent an afternoon listening to his memories, you always walked away smiling.
Earlier this year, we were honored to celebrate his 102nd birthday with a community parade. Residents, neighbors, staff, and local supporters lined the streets with flags to show their love, and seeing the smiles on his face is a memory we will cherish forever.
Mr. Woody leaves behind a legacy of resilience, wisdom, and compassion that will never be forgotten. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and for the impact he made on our lives.
